OPERATING BACKGROUND
Execution is the Strategy
The work is rarely blocked by strategy alone.
It breaks down when ownership is unclear, systems are fragmented, signals are weak, and decisions do not translate into coordinated action.
The work focuses on designing the operating systems that connect strategy to execution across product, engineering, finance, commercial operations, and customer delivery.
That includes governance, workflows, operating cadence, performance signals, automation, and AI-enabled coordination.
The objective is not more process. It is a clearer, more accountable way for work to move from intent to outcome.
CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES: FRACTIONAL COO | AGENTIC SOCIETY GLOBAL OPERATIONS & PROGRAM STRATEGY CONSULTANT | LASERLIGHT COMMUNICATIONS CHIEF FRACTIONAL INTEGRATION OFFICER | NC COURAGE
Roman Bediner is the founder and principal of Bediner AdvisoryLLC, through which he provides embedded operating, technology integration, and AI-enabled transformation leadership.
ENTERPRISE SCALE DISNEY & AWS
The enterprise chapter was shaped in complex global technology environments where reliability, accountability, and execution discipline were essential.
At Amazon Web Services, the work centered on Enterprise Technical Account Management for strategic customers navigating cloud adoption, production risk, scalability, resiliency, and operational governance. The role required alignment across customer executives, engineering teams, support organizations, and technical roadmaps.
At The Walt Disney Company, senior operating leadership focused on performance engineering, Quality of Experience, operational readiness, device automation, certification, observability, and media distribution across Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, and international streaming platforms.
The work established operating standards, executive scorecards, release-governance mechanisms, and performance signals that improved visibility and coordination across product, engineering, operations, and partner teams at global scale.
GLOBAL DELIVERY LEADERSHIP OMNIGON & ORIGIN DIGITAL
The next chapter focused on building and scaling global service and delivery organizations across digital media, sports, and enterprise platforms.
At Origin Digital and Omnigon, leadership responsibility spanned technical services, DevOps, quality assurance, live operations, implementations, client support, and platform delivery across distributed teams.
The work established enterprise service models, SLAs, escalation paths, onboarding standards, operational reporting, and 24/7 support structures for complex digital products and live-event environments.
Delivery supported organizations including Nike, Cisco, ESPN, NASCAR, PGA TOUR, USGA, CONCACAF, Verizon IndyCar, Akamai, and Universal Music Group.
Cloud migration, CRM and ticketing implementation, vendor governance, and service automation strengthened delivery visibility, platform reliability, and accountability across client and engineering teams during periods of growth and organizational transition.
GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE ADVISORY LASER LIGHT COMMUNICATIONS
Global Operations & Program Strategy consulting for LaserLight Communications focuses on the operating architecture required to support a global infrastructure platform spanning terrestrial, subsea, satellite, data-center, and regional operating environments.
The work includes operating-model design across seven international regions, with emphasis on CRM, ERP, PMO, go-to-market workflows, organizational structure, partner onboarding, governance, and executive visibility.
A central priority is connecting commercial, technical, financial, regional, and vendor execution through clearer ownership, standardized workflows, shared performance signals, and disciplined operating cadence.
This work also includes the development of the Core Operations Hub as a coordination layer for readiness, reporting, accountability, and cross-functional execution as the company advances toward broader commercial deployment.
AI-ENABLED OPERATING SYSTEMS AGENTIC SOCIETY
Fractional COO work with Agentic Society focuses on helping a founder-led AI business move from early momentum toward a more repeatable operating model.
The work focuses on operating architecture, member onboarding, cross-functional handoffs, execution cadence, accountability, systems design, and the coordination of marketing, sales, customer success, and AI implementation.
It also includes the hands-on design and deployment of a coordinated fleet of agentic AI employees that support project management, operating cadence, decision tracking, workflow orchestration, and executive visibility across the business.
These AI-enabled systems are being embedded directly into the operating environment to improve context, track commitments, surface decisions, strengthen follow-through, and reduce administrative friction.
The engagement reflects a core principle of the broader operating model: AI creates durable value when it participates inside real workflows with clear ownership, reliable context, measurable outputs, and defined human accountability.
FRACTIONAL INTEGRATION LEADERSHIP NC COURAGE
Current work with NC Courage serves as fractional integration leadership across business priorities, departmental workflows, technology systems, data, vendors, and execution.
The responsibility is to create a clearer operating picture, support independent technology and vendor decisions, surface dependencies, and help practical improvements move from discussion into coordinated action.
The work applies the same operating principle used across complex environments: separate the business problem from the platform decision, clarify ownership before adding automation, and build evidence before making larger commitments.
OPERATING PHILOSOPHY
The strongest operating systems make execution visible.
They clarify how work enters the organization, where ownership changes, which decisions require human judgment, what signals matter, and where coordination repeatedly breaks down.
The work then becomes one of design: establishing the governance, workflows, systems, performance signals, automation, and AI participation required to move execution more predictably.
The objective is not more process. It is a durable operating system that reduces dependence on heroics, strengthens accountability, and allows the organization to scale with greater clarity and control.
